ABOUT THE RISK MANAGEMENT POSITION:

The Risk Manager is a critical component to the operations of Engage Insurance Group and we believe that your success doesn’t have to have a ceiling. The R.M. is a licensed P&C and Life & Health insurance expert dedicated to helping clients identify opportunities and leverage uncertainties. The Risk Manager develops a plan and based on the recommendations, implements the precautionary measures to minimize a potential financial impact that a client might face.

DAY TO DAY:

  • Build relationships with your clients to understand their needs

  • Soliciting new clients

  • Execute risk management strategies with individuals, businesses, and families to help them select coverage that will meet their needs

  • Advise clients on how to minimize risk

  • Process new applications and requests for changes to existing policies

  • Continuously seeks out opportunities with new clients and current clients.

  • Maintain regular and ongoing contact with clients

  • Conduct yearly reviews with clients

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide excellent customer service that will meet or exceed expectations

  • Experience in field underwriting

  • Assist customers with completion and processing of applications

  • Keep abreast of trends in the property and casualty industry, including various state laws and legislative issues

  • Follow-up sales activity

  • Have the ability to pass a criminal background check.

  • Have the ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

ABOUT YOU:

  • Advanced understanding of Risk Management

  • 2-4 years of sales experience

  • Bachelor’s degree for equivalent experience, preferably in finance

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Attention to detail

  • Must be driven and self-motivated

  • Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented and organized

  • Strong written and oral communication

  • High -achiever attitude – no fear mentality

  • Licensed in Property/Casualty

  • Licensed in Life and Health
